February Program
“Exploring my family tree” 

Who am I? Where did I come from? With this program we help children make a family scrapbook so they can explore their family history and culture.  We will look at the archival Bibles and scrapbooks from the history center’s collection and talk about traditions and culture that make up the fabric of a community. Programs are ongoing all day- there is a theme each month and that program is repeated each Saturday, throughout the month. Activities are free- donations are appreciated. Reservations are recommended for groups of 5 or more.  For March: What did they eat??  How did families live in ages past without the convenience of a grocery store or mall??  Children will make food from “scratch” just like days of pioneers.
