Kentucky Afield: A Night with Tim Farmer
Join us for the second series of our Super Supper evening programs at the Irish Rover, Too on Feb. 10, 2010, Wednesday Evening at 6 p.m. Ky. Afield host, director and producer, Tim Farmer, will give us a history of the world’s longest running television show, Ky. Afield. Vintage wildlife films by Carl Maslowski will be featured as background entertainment during dinner. A native of East Kentucky, Tim has won two Emmy awards for his Kentucky Afield TV show that he has hosted for the Ky. Dept. of Fish and Wildlife since 1995. Tim is an exceptional athlete who has adapted his hunting and fishing skills using one arm. He suffered major injury to his right arm from a motorcycle accident when he was on leave from his service in the U. S. Marine Corp. When Tim is not “on the water or in the field” he helps others with disabilities to adapt ways that they can continue to enjoy outdoor sports.
Cost of program includes special soup/bread with dessert. Reservations ONLY: 502-222-0826. Proceeds to benefit our student archaeology summer camps. Please note: $20.00 for history center members ($25 non-members). |
