Recent statistics show that one out of every 100 U.S. citizens are currently serving time in jails or prisons. Join us for this exciting event that gives us perspectives about prisons, reform and important issues that face today’s society. All three guests worked together at KSR when the Consent Decree was issued. Listen to their expertise and comments about the state of prisons and the current social issues in prison reform.
Join the Oldham County History Center on Thursday evening, May 22, 2008. Cocktails and appetizers at 6:30, program begins at 7:00 p.m. Reservations: 222-0826.
Cost: $13 members/$15 non-members.
This program is being held in conjunction with the Oldham County History Center’s exhibit, “Serving Life: The Kentucky State Reformatory”. The exhibit runs through August 15, 2008.
