Adolph Rupp to Visit the Oldham County History Center
On Thursday evening, November 15, 2007 at 6 p.m., Adolph Rupp will visit the Oldham County History Center to relive his accounts of the Kentucky basketball program and his experiences there as the head coach. Kentucky Chautauqua actor, Edward Smith, portrays Adolph Rupp as a part of the Kentucky Humanities Council guest speaker program. Smith is a professor at Georgetown University portrays the coach and his years at the University of Kentucky.
For reservations call the Oldham County History Center at 502-222-0826. $15 for non-members and $13 for members, includes heavy appetizers and cash bar. The program will take place at the Rob Morris Chapel Educational Building at 106 N. Second Avenue at the museum complex, LaGrange, Ky. |
