Come “Spin” Away at the History Center
The Yarnovers Fiber Guild welcomes all fiber fans to come knit, crochet, spin, weave, braid, etc. at the Oldham County History Center, Saturday, June 2, 2007, from 10 AM-2 PM. Fiber artists will be on the porch of the Oldham County History Center, 106 N. 2nd Ave. La Grange, rain or shine, glad to help people learn fiber crafts and help answer any questions regarding the various fiber arts. There will be many free hands-on demonstrations of various fiber arts in conjunction with the Arts on the Green at the Courthouse Lawn sponsored by the Oldham County Arts Association. In addition, woodcraft expert Bill Pace will be doing demonstrations on wood crafting on the history center lawn.
