During the month of January, the Oldham County History Center will offer exciting adventures into local history as children take historic walks, make their own historical movies and participate in archaeological investigations. The classes will be offered from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoons, January 4, 11, 18 and 25. The Oldham County History Center offers classes, dinner/lectures and exhibits throughout the year. Special emphasis is on local history events, artifacts and people who have contributed to the development of the region. The museum is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The museum has extended hours on Friday, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is free. |
