"Antique and Vintage Doll Quilts and Cloth Dolls" is the upcoming topic for the Oldham County History Center's bimonthly dinner/lecture meeting. Sarah Jane Lynch, a Louisville antique appraisor and collector, will bring her own personal collections to share and discuss and encourages those attending to bring their questions about developing antique collections. The event is being held in conjunction with the current exhibit now on display through January 2, 2007 at the Oldham County HIstory Center, the Ruth Klingenfus Quilt Collection. This collection encompasses the quilts collected and made by Ruth over her lifetime experiences as a resident and farmer in Oldham County. The dinner/lecture will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 on 6 p.m. at the Irish Rover, Too on Main Street in LaGrange. Cost of the program and dinner is $15 members/$18 for non-members. Call 502-222-0826 for reservations.
