Tour Guide Training: Volunteers Needed with Drama/Speaking Skills  

The Oldham County History Center needs volunteers to lead walking tours of downtown LaGrange. These public tours will begin in June on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and include the Rob Morris home as part of Freemasonry and Oldham County 's English Culture exhibit that runs through the summer. The Oldham County History Center will have training sessions in May for those interested in leading historical tours of LaGrange. Training sessions will be held on Saturday, May 13 and May 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. Attendance to both sessions is required. If training session times are not convenient, other training sessions may be added. Additional practice sessions may be held. People with drama and public speaking skills are needed- walking loop is about ¼ mile. Call the history center to sign-up at 502-222-0826.
