Oldham County History Center to Celebrate Jon Rauch's Birthday September 27th.
In continuation of its ongoing Dairy Queen Famous People Birthday Party series, the Oldham County History Center will celebrate Jon Rauch's 27th birthday on September 27th.
Jon Rauch was a pitcher and first baseman for Oldham County High School and graduated in 1996. He then went on to pitch at Morehead State University for 3 years before he was drafted in the third round by the Chicago White Sox. |

| He was assigned to pitch for the White Sox minor league teams at Class A Winston Salem and Double A Birmingham and went on to be named minor league player of the year in 2000. Also in 2000 Rauch had the honor of representing the
United States in the summer Olympic games in Sydney Australia, where he led the team to a gold medal victory. Rauch is currently playing for the Washington Nationals.
