Native Plant Sale at the History Center

The Oldham County History Center will hold its' annual native plant sale on May 14 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. This year's sale includes native grasses of Fringed Sedge, Sallow Sedge and Dark Green Bulrush. Some wildflowers that were not available last year are Blue and White Indigo, Obedient Plant, Royal Catchfly, Wild Petunia and Blue Star. There are 25 different varieties of wildflowers.

All of the plants that are sold are native to Kentucky and many have been cultivated from seeds of indigenous plants. All plants are $3 per container with proceeds supporting the educational programs of the Oldham County History Center.
