Free Derby Celebration at the History Center May 4th and 5th 11:30 - 1:30

The Oldham County History Center is excited to announce it is hosting a Derby Celebration the Wednesday and Thursday before Derby from 11:30 - 1:30 . Come by the History Center and catch the Derby Spirit. Enjoy free Barbeque sandwiches, for the first 150 guests, and banjo music performed by Jack Sherman. See our Hermitage Farm Exhibit and view footage of the 1953 Derby won by Oldham County born, Dark Star. This entire event is being generously sponsored by Bedford Bank. The Recording Industries Music Performance Fund, funds in whole or in part the instrumental music for this performance, as arranged by The Louisville Federation of Musicians, Local 11-637. |
