Board of Directors Approves Free Admission Policy for the Oldham County History Center
The Oldham County Historical Society Board of Directors has approved a free admissions policy for the Oldham County History Center . "Our center and historical society is supported by our memberships and grants. The ability to open our doors by offering free admission to our visitors and community enables us to reach a wider audience. This is a very generous gesture by our Board of Directors and our museum members that are committed to creating a museum that benefits all the people of Oldham County," according to Nancy Theiss, executive director. There will still be a charge for educational programs and events to cover charges for material and food costs. Society members are offered special discounts that range from gift shop items to all the activities including the programs and events that are conducted by the historical society.
