2012 Lowry Watkins, Jr. Internship Program
The Oldham County History announces the Lowry Watkins, Jr. Summer Internship Program for college students. This $1,200 award is open to college students with majors in art history, history, communications or education. The award is only available to undergraduate students that currently attend the University of Louisville, Centre College or Transylvania University.
The award is given in the name of Lowry Watkins, Jr. as well as his ancestors who helped to establish the above designated pioneer colleges that have become landmark institutions in Kentucky today. Students who are interested in application for the summer internship need to contact the Oldham County History Center for further information. Application deadline is March 1, 2012.
